United international Business Seat picture 767

VERY comfy seat. Plenty of room between you and the person next to you, which is always a good thing. The legroom is great, I am 6'1 and could fully extend my legs, though I was in the bulkhead just behind first class. This was a domestic flight, but the aircraft was going on to KIX and many of United's 772 flights between ORD and SFO/LAX are in the international config. Service was about on par with domestic first class service, but was a bit more attentive. I found the chairs VERY easy to sleep in, and I don't agree with the previous PTV comment. The PTVs weren't small at all, lying fully reclined and angling the TV towards me I could perfectly see everything. I fail to see how someone could have trouble viewing those PTVs. This seat may not have the most electronics, but if you want to travel in comfort, I recommend an upgrade to business.

United Economy Plus Seat passenger reviews

review one

I've had the good fortune to have used the premium economy seat on various flights across the US & Pacific. The seat is comfortable, has satisfactory recline and you have the added benefit of up to 36" pitch depending on the aircraft flown.

You also recieve a blocked seat if the cabin space is available, making it much easier to move about when it's just 2 people seated in the row. If you're into PTV's then you're out of luck on the 747-400, if you can get by without them on a longhaul then this seat is really worth a try

review 2

I'm 6'5" tall and found the extra 5" a godsend on a 14 hour flight.

Yeah the seats are narrow but you could get lucky and score a seat block to creat more space ...just lift the armrest up and bingo...doublewide action.

United are pretty good to deal with and I actually prefer them as trans-pacific carrier to my native Qantas Airways. Qantas have really let themselves go of late and I get much better service with United

review 3

It seems that economy plus seats have no additional recline compared with economy seats. In fact, they seem to be identical to economy seats. The only benefit is enhanced legroom. Yes, it's nice to fly without your legs being crunched by the seat in front, but that's the only benefit, the seat itself is as miserably uncomfortable as all the others

United PS on the JFK-LAX flight in business class

Class of Service: Business (Regional)
Seat Type: Non Lie-Flat Sleeper Aircraft: Boeing 757-200 ps

My first encounter with United PS saw me on the JFK-LAX flight in business class, the cabin, although a single aisle, is extremely spacious, the seat is comfortable and upholstered in soft leather. The recline seemed more significant then that of the international business seat. The seat has no PTV as these are supplied by the cabin crew in the form of a dvd player.

This is by far the best way to get from JFK to SFO/LAX at a value for money price, I've never seen so much room in a cabin, i could park a shopping trolley between myself and the seat in front

take United airlines Business class across the pacific

Some may argue that i'm crazy to take United in business class across the pacific, especially when Air NZ and Qantas offer a far superior product on the same services. But if value for money is what you're after then United has a great product and is well worth a try.

The seat is very comfortable and easy to operate, the PTV, although small, functions better then most AVOD systems being used these days, I've never had trouble sleeping on any of the trans-pacific business class flights, the only complaint i'd have would be the food on offer. I actually find the recline offered far better on my back then that of a lie flat seat, atleast i'm not sliding down the thing whilst trying to sleep.

Upper Deck is very quiet and far more spacious then the lower cabin. I recommend seat 13H, it's my favourite

United Express CRJ700 regional jet specs

N519LR, originally uploaded by PHLAIRLINE.COM.

Name: Bombardier CRJ-701LR
Manufacturer: Bombardier (Canadair) (Montreal ,Quebec, Canada)
Main Role: small capacity, short range regional jetliner
Basic design: twin rear engined, single aisle narrowbody jet.
Photo: Showing the interior of an Skywest (United Airlines' partner) CRJ-700 from mid to rear cabin. 70 passenger capacity. Typical overhead panels, lighting, wall panels and right side luggage bins of all CRJ's. The seats are smaller and more narrow than standard mainline airliners. The cabin environment though is quite pleasant and comfortable and resemble typical Boeing or Airbus mainline jetliners in style. One of the improvements for passengers in the -700 model is that the window placement is much higher than on the -100 & -200 versions eliminating neck strain for taller people looking outside

United Airlines 777-200 aeroplane

United Airlines 777-222 N213UA, originally uploaded by caribb.

A good flight to Denver. First class was nicer than in the 767. Everything was in better shape. Flight attendants were excellent. Seats were comfortable. My seat mate was well over 300lbs. He barely squished in to his. Flying is a bit more difficult for people with added padding it would seem

United Airlines Business Class meal

Chicken Salad, originally uploaded by sfopanda.

United Airlines UA595, DEN - SFO (Boeing 777). Dinner service, salad option. Business Class cabin.

This is Asian curried grilled chicken over a salad. Everything was chilled and tasted fresh - even the chicken had a good flavor. However, the crunchy bits were a bit soggy. They forgot the butter for the dinner roll, but I'm sure they'd have brought me some had I asked for it. Airline food ain't what it used to be, but it's still not too bad
